Vincent Xia(夏文进)is vice president and principal of Jolywood (Suzhou) Sunwatt Co.,Ltd. Before joining Jolywood, Vicent had worked as process developmemnt engineer in paint industry. His research covers adhesive, coating material formulation, fluro material, polyurathane material, film technology and he has over 20 patents.

Complex stress test for PV backsheet property evaluation
Abstract:
 
The current aging test and standard for photovoltaic backsheet are all under single stress condition, while the real field environment has more complicate conditions like the light, heat, wahter, oxygen, thermal cycle. Thus the single stress test cannot cooresponds with the real field application environment. The testing result cannot reflect the real ourdoor performance of photovoltaic backsheet and it may mislead the end user to wrong selection which may cause potential investment loss.
 
Jolywood has considered the complicate outdoor stress package during the backsheet reliability study. The reliability assessment has incorporated the factors like light, heat, water, oxygen and other stress. The comparation between indoor simulation and outdoor field test shows that the well-designed comprehensive aging test result is very close to the outdoor real application. Thus the test result of module encapsulant can accurately reflect the outdoor performance.

       夏文进先生,苏州中来光伏新材股份有限公司董事、副总裁,加入中来前曾在多家企业担任工艺开发工程师。他的研究领域包括粘合剂、涂料配方、含氟聚合物、聚氨酯涂料、膜科学与技术,拥有20余项专利。

复合应力测试在光伏背板性能评估的应用
 
内容摘要
 
       目前对光伏背板的老化测试及技术标准均在单一应力老化条件下进行,无法与户外实际使用中光、热、水、氧及冷热循环等复杂条件很好对应,因此,实验室单一应力条件下对背板的测试结果无法真实表明背板的优劣,导致终端用户可能会由于背板选择错误而造成巨大的损失。
 
       中来股份在对背板可靠性研究中综合考虑户外实际使用的复杂应力条件,综合光、热、水、氧及外加应力的综合老化条件下对背板进行了可靠性评估,并与户外实际情况进行了对比,结果显示,这种综合老化的结果能以最接近户外实际的环境条件来对组件封装材料进行测试,以达到全面、准确评估光伏背板在户外实际使用的可靠性。
