Without any doubtthe PV manufacturing and installation volume in 2017 once again helps China lay the position as the largest and strongest PV country in the world.  In the recent ten years, the cost of PV installation has been continually fallen down and very close to FIT price. Some countries and areas have listed PV as the most cost effective option.

Ten years ago, First PVM became the TOP three PV EVA film supplier. Cybrid, Jolywood, Ming-Crown ... started its back sheet business in solar industry. From then on, more and more global companies started their 'made-in-China'solar business.

In the last ten years, the module power output increases from 200+ watt to 300+ wattThe distributed PV unit is well developed, string inverter is broadly usedPV polymer is not only used in PV module, inverter, electricity distribution, some new parts like float material, clamper pad, have been developed for PV rack system

In the last ten years, PV polymer has been experienced the challenges of the new products, new application, new testing condition, new structure, higher power rate, and gradually stabalized its technology. For example, the with/out fluoro structure back sheets have been broadly accepted by differentiated market; among the PV encapsulant materials, EVA technology is matured, POE is widely adopted in glass-glass module; Liquid silicone rubber and PVB are also used by some customers. The multi-function junction box design, cable, framing sealant and structure sealant, floating rack...

PV polymer material occupies 10% share of the PV installation cost, but contributes to 25-year life-span. In the 2017 PV market, the total value of PV polymers is around 7.5 billion USD. How to choose the right polymer material for differentiated application?

Since 2014, the forum has hosted several PV back sheet/encapsulant seminars under the brand “PV Top-runner Innovation Forum” (HTTP://LT.TESTPV.COM ) , a platform for series technical topics in whole PV supply chain.  In 2017, the “2017 PV polymer international conference” called up over 25% oversea participants and speakers.

The seminar has worked together with the partners including almost all Chinese PV polymer suppliers like Cybrid, First, Jolywood, China-ZTT, Fumotech… and the most global companies like Dow, Arkema, Solvay, Daikin, CSA,TUV Rheinland, TUV-SUD, TUV-NORD, UL, Q-LAB, ATLAS, Dowcorning, Dupont, Coveme, Toray, 3M, Krempel, Filmcutter, Honeywell…

The seminar persists on technical discussion, focuses on PV polymer quality, durability, design, testing and update standard. Over 1500 attendees, 200 polymer or module related companies have experienced and benefitted from the seminar. The PV polymer seminar has been the most popular PV-material technical event in China. It is normally scheduled in the spring season.
